The King of Clay Rafael Nadal has booked his spot in the final of the Madrid Open following a straight sets victory over Serbia’s Novak Djokovic.
The Spaniard showed a flawless performance in front of his adoring fans in the semifinals of the contest on Saturday.
He outclassed Djokovic with an impressive score-line of 6-2, 6-4 to end his 7-match losing streak against the Serb and also register his 14th successive match victory in a row.
Nadal will next play the final against Dominic Thiem of Austria. It will be the Spaniard's 8th final at his home tournament.
