Juventus have stretched their lead at the top of the Serie A standings after they eased to a 2-0 win at Pescara, thanks to a double from Argentine marksman Gonzalo Higuain.

The visitors needed just 22 minutes to unlock Pescara’s porous defense when Higuain tapped into an empty net after collecting a clever pass from Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado.

2 minutes before half-time, the Argentine himself was on target again with a close range effort to claim the 2-0 away win for the the Old Lady.

With the brace, the Argentine scored his 201st goal in Europe’s top 5 leagues’ all time scorers’ list where there are only 7 other stars in the elite group.
