Iran presidential election registration underway

The registration process for the 12th round of Iran’s presidential election is underway at the Interior Ministry headquarters in the capital Tehran. Registration for the election will be over on April 15 after which presidential hopefuls will be screened by the Guardian Council, the 12-member body that oversees elections and legislation.
