Juventus have registered an emphatic 3-0 victory over Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final in Turin, courtesy of a double from Paulo Dybala.

The Old Lady got off to a super-charged start, and opened the scoring after just 7 minutes when Juan Cuadrado set up Argentine marksman Paulo Dybala who spun brilliantly before curling a low shot into the corner.

The Argentine himself was on target 15 minutes later when he found the bottom corner with a wonderful finish thanks to a smart cutback from Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic.

Manager Luis Enrique's men had plenty of possession in the second half and went close on several occasions, but it was the Italian side who availed themselves of Barcelona's defensive deficiencies as Giorgio Chiellini powered a header into the far corner in the 55th minute.

Juventus held strong from then on to secure the valuable victory as the Italian champions put one foot in the semi-finals ahead of the return match at Camp Nou next Wednesday.
