The Toronto Raptors have edged past the Miami Heat 96-94 at Air Canada Center.

On Friday night, the host team started as the better side before the intermission and headed to the locker room leading 53-43.

The Miami Heat came back after the interval and won both the third and the final frames which did not harm the Raptors’ two points victory at the end.

DeMar DeRozan scored 38 points for the Toronto Raptors and James Johnson scored 22 points for the Miami Heat.

The Raptors will travel to New York to face the Knicks while Miami Heat will meet the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
