The Iraqi province of Kirkuk has been at the center of a number of disputes between the central government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government in Erbil over the past decade. Raising the Kurdish flag in Kirkuk is the latest of such disputes. As our correspondent Ali Musawi reports from the Iraqi city, attempts are underway to defuse the recently-triggered tension.
