NHL: Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 Columbus Blue Jackets

The Chicago Blackhawks have defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-1 to edge closer to the Central Division title.

Artemi Panarin scored for the Blackhawks in the opening minute but Nick Foligno leveled the match 17 minutes into the first period.

Within a few seconds later Marian Hossa netted the puck for the host.

Panarin got a power-play goal at the end of the final period for the Blackhawks to take the 3-1 victory.

The Chicago Blackhawks will entertain Boston Bruins on Sunday while the Columbus Blue Jackets will welcome Washington Capitals.
