Indian-controlled Kashmir has observed a complete shutdown on Friday to protest recent civilian killings at the hands of Indian security forces. 3 people lost their lives a few days ago during the government crackdown which has been ongoing since July last year. That’s when a wave of protests broke out following the death of a pro-independence figure.
