After 44 years of European Union membership, Prime Minister Theresa May has formally delivered an official notification to the 27 member bloc announcing Britain's withdrawal from the union. Addressing the MPs, May sought to reassure the country that Britain would be entering a new ‘global’ stage but with the European Union ready to engage in tough negotiations with Britain, uncertain times loom.
