A startup company in the US has presented a unique 3D food printer at the International Pizza Expo in the state of Nevada.

The company originally intended to create a 3D printer to produce a variety of foods for cosmonauts on long-term space missions.

According to the engineers, the 3D pizza printing machine, called ‘Chef 3D’, is tailored to meet the customers' needs, taking into consideration their health specifications and food preferences.

Customers can use a smart phone application to select their pizza’s size, dough, sauce and cheese.

The pizza will be ready in 6 minutes.
