Registration for city council elections wrapped up in Iran

Sunday was the last day of a week-long registration process for the upcoming City and Village Council elections in Iran. More than 287,000 people across the country registered to nominate themselves for the elections. The figures indicates a rise of 14 percent compared to the previous round that was held four years ago.
