CeBIT technology fair in Hannover is trying to promote healthy playing and smart toys.

The games intend to lure children away from merely virtual atmospheres and back to traditional toys that come with a high-tech twist. Wooden blocks that are connected to smart-phones are an example of such hands-on activities.

The game called “imagno” will create games, stories or sounds depending on the arrangement or the shape of the blocks. This means that children will get to do a real life activity, while benefiting from the advanced technology.

Other examples of these games include musical instruments and bikes that are equipped with a hands-free kit.
