Premier League leaders Chelsea have cemented their spot atop the standings following a 2-1 win over Stoke City in an enthralling encounter.

12 minutes into Saturday’s match and the London Blues went ahead through Willian who scored with an amazing free kick.

Stoke, however, won a penalty in the 38th minute when Cahill pushed Jonathan Walters to the ground inside the box. Walters himself stepped up and fired the ball past the keeper to make it 1-all.

But Gary Cahill came to Chelsea’s rescue 3 minutes from time and earned his side all three points by smashing home from eight yards. With the triumph, Antonio Conte’s men moved 13 points clear at the top of the standings.
