In the National Hockey League, the visiting Montreal Canadiens have posted a 4-3 overtime victory over the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center.

The Devils started the match in full force and dominated the match at home on Monday. But they lost rhythm after the 3rd goal, and slipped from a 3-1 lead when the Canadiens’ Max Pacioretty's duo of goals sent the game into extra-time.

And 23-year-old Alex Galchenyuk was the hero of the night for the visitors, as he struck the puck past New Jersey’s goaltender to make it 4-3 and hand Montreal the unexpected victory.

The Canadiens will next play Columbus on Tuesday night at home.
