SpaceX Dragon cargo ship arrives at ISS

The SpaceX’s Dragon cargo ship.

A spaceship carrying more than 2 tons of NASA supplies has finally arrived at the International Space Station after a 1-day delay.

The SpaceX Dragon cargo ship was captured by the station’s robotic arm on Thursday.

The orbital arrival comes 24 hours after Dragon aborted its first approach to the station.

The spacecraft's onboard computers detected an incorrect value in the global positioning system data that pinpoints the Dragon's location in space relative to the station.

The glitch was fixed soon, but it did require Dragon to orbit the earth 1 extra day before another engagement attempt.
