Rotterdam Open: Tsonga beats Goffin 2-1, wins title

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France has achieved his 13th career title after coming from a set down to beat Belgium’s David Goffin 2-1 at the Rotterdam Open.

The Frenchman was stunned in the first set as Goffin stormed into the lead by taking it 6-4. But Tsonga fought back in the second set and leveled the match at one a piece after winning it 6-4.

The third set saw Tsonga race into a five-game lead as he continued his fine play to wrap up the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 in under two hours and claim his first ATP title since 2015.
