The oldest person in the world with Down syndrome has celebrated his 77th birthday along with his caregivers in the UK.

‘Kenny Cridge’ was named by the Guinness World Records in 2008 as the oldest living person with Down syndrome.

He was assumed stillborn and left for dead. But soon a midwife realized he was alive and brought him back to family.

In the past, people with Down syndrome were not expected to live more than 12 years. However, Cridge has outlived his twin sister and his brother.
