A video has gone viral online showing an Australian police officer frying an egg in the country’s ongoing heatwave.
The footage shows a police officer in Birdsville cooking an egg with a frying pan on the hood of his vehicle. The film has drawn more than 3 million views since it was posted.
Temperatures reached a record 47-point-1 degrees Celsius last week in some parts of Australia. The recent heatwave also fanned bushfires on the country's east coast, forcing the cancellation of major sporting events.
