An Airbus Super-jumbo is set to go on display at a Paris museum. The Airbus A380 flew from Toulouse with 50 technicians on board and arrived in Le Bourjeh near Paris to be prepped for public view.
The prototype aircraft will go under months of adaptation procedures before being exhibited at France’s National Air and Space Museum in 2018.
The A380 test plane is the fourth to be built and the second to explore the skies in 2005. This monstrosity of a plane used to be a show-stopper at events like the Paris Air show.
It will now meet its retirement alongside a vintage Boeing 747 and is expected to become a popular tourist attraction upon display. This is the first Airbus test plane to ever make it to a museum.
