La Liga leaders Real Madrid have remained above Barcelona in the standings following a 3-1 victory over hosts Osasuna.

Los Blancos went ahead after 24 minutes on Saturday through Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portugal striker was fed into the penalty area nicely, before directing a low shot into the bottom-left corner of the net to make it 1-0.

But, the home side leveled the scoring some 10 minutes later when Sergio Leon chipped the ball over the oncoming keeper.

Real Madrid, however, regained their advantage after the break through Isco which was increased through a cool finish by substitute Vazquez in injury time. 3-1, the final score and a vital three points for Real Madrid.
