NBA: San Antonio Spurs beat Detroit Pistons 103-92

The San Antonio Spurs have defeated the Detroit Pistons 103-92 in the NBA.

On Friday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan, the Spurs led 27-19 after the first quarter of play. They continued their strong play in the second quarter and took a 60-41 lead into halftime.

The host that had won seven of their previous eight at home managed to take control of the match in the third and fourth quarters but San Antonio were 103-92 winners of the game.

Kawhi Leonard erupted for 32 points as LaMarcus Aldridge added 19 points and Dewayne Dedmon scored 17 points for the Spurs. Tobias Harris led a balanced Detroit scoring attack with 16 points and Ish Smith added 15.
