NHL: Chicago Blackhawks beat Minnesota Wild 4-3 in overtime

In the National Hockey League, the Chicago Blackhawks have topped the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in overtime.

Ryan Hartman scored the first goal for the Blackhawks 10 minutes into the first period. Chicago grabbed a 2-0 lead thanks to a goal by Nicholas Schmaltz early in the second period. Jared Spurgeon scored the first goal for the hosts in less than one minute in the second period.

Minnesota pulled even at 2-2 through Zach Parise seven minutes into the period. Later on, Richard Panik put Chicago on top 3-2 as Minnesota's Erik Haula scored with three minutes left in the third period to tie it at 3-3.

Jonathan Toews scored three minutes into overtime to lift Chicago over Minnesota 4-3 for the Blackhawks in a third straight win.
