NHL: Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 Montreal Canadiens

In the NHL, the Philadelphia Flyers have posted a 3-1-win over the visiting Montreal Canadiens at Wells Fargo Center.

On Thursday, Montreal took the lead in the fifth minute of the first quarter through Nikita Nesterov. But the match then got tied at 1 all in the second frame when Claude Giroux scored for the Flyers with a power play goal.

In the third, the Flyers got themselves in front when Matt Read beat the Canadiens goalie Carey Price, making it 2-1. And Sean Couturier sealed the victory for Philadelphia with an empty-netter in the final minute of the match.
