A London-based startup is launching a new wave of robots in other countries to deliver goods to consumers with more efficiency.

The company has recently started commercial services in the UK and the US among other countries. Larger and faster additions to its automated fleet were recently unveiled at the Washington Auto Show. The startup now aims to deliver in a radius of three kilometers within 15 to 30 minutes of an order.

The robots travel on sidewalks and send notification to consumers’ phones upon their arrival. Cargos will include groceries and takeaway food on providing more convenient transports for the parcel industry. The company envisions offering on-demand delivery that will cost only one dollar in the future.
