The eruption of the ‘Kilauea Volcano’ has put on a spectacular display of smoke and fire in Hawaii.
The volcano is spewing fresh lava with experts saying the flow has now covered around half a kilometer.
Officials say the 'vent' of the flow is very active, and that the lava is moving in a continuous path towards the Pacific Ocean inside the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Once the molten lava comes into contact with the ocean an explosive reaction occurs that can send debris flying.
