Copa del Rey: Barcelona hammer Real Sociedad 5-2 in 2nd leg

The Catalan giants Barcelona are on course to defend their Copa Del Rey crown after brushing aside Real Sociedad 5-2 in the 2nd-leg, to book their spot in the semi-finals.

Denis Suarez opened the scoring 17 minutes into the first half at Camp Nou, before Lionel Messi doubled their lead in the 55th minute.

The visitors, however pulled one back through Juanmi, but Barca responded swiftly, with Luis Suarez converting a pass by Messi just 60 seconds later, making it 3-1.

Willian Jose's header once again cut the deficit for Sociedad, but Arda Turan and Denis Suarez were on hand for the defending champions, to complete a 5-2 victory, and 6-2 on aggregate.
