Rafael Nadal is through to the semifinals of the Australian Open for the first time in three years, after brushing aside Canadian Milos Raonic in straight sets on Wednesday.
The Spaniard saved six set points in the second set before seeing off the world number three 6-4 7-6, 6-4 in two hours and 44 minutes.
Nadal will next play Grigor Dimitrov on Friday, the day after 35-year-old Roger Federer takes on Stan Wawrinka in an all-Swiss semifinal.
