UK govt Brexit plans derailed by court ruling

Britain’s Supreme Court has dealt a blow to Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit plans. The court rules that the government needs the permission of the Parliament before it can start the legal framework for exiting the European Union. British government officials say the ruling does not change the fact that the UK will be leaving the 28-member bloc.
