English Football Association has charged Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger with misconduct over his behavior toward the end of the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Burnley.
Wenger was sent off after reacting angrily to a decision to award Burnley a penalty late in the match on Sunday.
FA said in a statement that it is alleged that Wenger used abusive words towards 4th official Anthony Taylor and made physical contact with him which amounted to improper conduct.
The 67-year old Frenchman apologized after the game. He has until 18:00 GMT on Thursday to respond.
