Iranian striker Ghoochan-nejad scores hat-trick against PSV Eindhoven

Heerenveen's Iranian striker Reza Ghoochan-nejhad scored a hat-trick in his side's match against PSV Eindhoven on Sunday.

Iran International and Heerenveen striker Reza Ghoochan-nejad has topped the goal scorers’ list in the Dutch top flight, with a hat-trick scored against hosts PSV Eindhoven, taking his tally to 12 goals.

On Sunday night, Gucci opened the scoring early in the match, as he netted his 1st in the 5th minute. The home side equalized in the 32nd minute through Davy Propper, and then went ahead in the 40th minute, thanks to Gaston Pereiro to Lead at half time.

Ghoochan-nejad scored his 2nd of the night in the 54th minute, before putting his side in the lead with 10 minutes to go.

However, the visitors conceded twice in the last minute to squander the 1st Iranian hat-trick in a European league, and a good chance to reach 35 points and close the gap on the Top 3.
