In the English Premier League, 10-man Arsenal have climbed up to second place in the standings following a 2-1 win over Burnley in a thrilling match at the Emirates Stadium.

After a goalless first half, the Gunners managed to break the deadlock in the 59th minute on Shkodran Mustafi 's fine header.

The hosts were then reduced to 10 men following a red card for Granit Xhaka. And things got even worse for Arsenal when Burnely won a penalty in injury time after a foul on Ashley Barnes inside the box. Andre Gray stepped up and fired the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-all.

However, Ben Mee soon gave away a penalty for a foul on Alexis Sanchez and another player as the Gunners snatched the crucial three points with basically the last kick of the match.
