Australian Open: Federer beats Berdych in 3rd round

Roger Federer made light work of Tomas Berdych as he eased into the fourth round of the Australian Open on Friday following a 6-2, 6-4, 6-4 win.

The 17-time Grand Slam winner won for the 17th time in 23 matches against the Czech.

Federer will now face world number five Kei Nishikori, with the winner of that match potentially meeting Andy Murray in the quarter-finals.
