Andy Murray beats Sam Querrey in straight sets at Australian Open

The world No.1 Andy Murray has defeated Sam Querrey in straight sets at the 2017 Australian Open tennis championships.

With the Friday win, Murray advanced to the round of 16 for the 9th straight year after he served out for a 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 win over the American.

Murray, who gained the No.1 ranking for the first time last November, remains in contention in Australia while Querry and Serbian ace Novak Djokovic are both out.
