The World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) championship.

The world’s best e-sports teams have gathered in China to battle for championship in the World Electronic Sports Games finals.

After an extravagant opening, the best of 60,000 players from 120 countries and regions came to China’s Changzhou province to participate in the event, hopping to win a share of the 5.5 million dollar pool prize.

Unlike other gaming tournaments, WESG included only 1 representative per country for each video game.

The hottest of the game industry including Dota 2, League of Legends and Hearthstone were only a few of several breathtaking video games that were professionally played during the event.

Tournament organizers say the global e-sports audience has tripled in the past 3 years surpassing 335,000,000 people.
