In the English Premier League, leaders Chelsea have restored their seven point advantage at the top of the standings, after thrashing Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.

The London Blues couldn’t have asked for a better start on Saturday as they went ahead after just six minutes, when Marcos Alonso rifled a low shot into the bottom right corner of the net, making it 1-0.

Six minutes after restart, Alonso scored his 2nd of the night to put the visitors in a comfortable position. And Pedro sealed the deal for Chelsea in the 71st minute by easily nodding a header into the bottom left corner of the net.

With this triumph, the Blues now sit seven points clear of 2nd placed Tottenham in the Premier League table.
