Moscow one of 'top 10 cities to visit' in 2017

The largest travel guide book publisher in the world has selected the Russian capital in the list of top 10 cities to visit in 2017.

‘Lonely Planet’ says Moscow has undergone a massive facelift in recent years.

According to official figures the number of visitors who traveled to Russia in 2015 was 20,000,000 which is 8 percent higher than the figure for 2014.

Travel experts believe the development of the subway infrastructure makes trips around the Russian capital city much easier and simpler.

Apart from that, the construction of a new airport will contribute to the increase in the number of flights to Moscow.
