Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has won the Brisbane International after defeating Japan’s Kei Nishikori 2 sets to one.
Dimitrov dominated the first set, breaking Nishikori twice to secure the opener 6-2 in 36 minutes. But the Japanese stole the momentum by bouncing back in the second, claiming four games in a row to level the match at 6-2. The 25-year-old Bulgarian regained his composure and took the decider 6-3, clinching his first tournament victory since 2014.
