Atletico Madrid have registered a much needed 2-nil victory at Eibar with Antoine Griezmann netting for the first time in over three months.
The teams played a quiet and scoreless 1st half, before Saul Niguez opened the scoring for the away side, with their first attempt on target, as he headed-in a cross by Filipe Luis.
Griezmann then ended his goal drought by sealing the victory in the 74th minute, following a superb one-two with substitute Kevin Gameiro. With the win, Diego Simeone’s men climbed up to 4th in the standings, nine points behind leaders Real Madrid.
