Portland Trail Blazers have started the Year 2017, on a high note, by defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 95-89 at Target Center.
The struggling Trail Blazers entered Sunday's game with just 2 wins from their last 13 games, and fell behind late in the 2nd quarter by 14 points.
But Portland had a dominant 3rd frame with C.J. McCollum leading their offence to outscore Minnesota 32-15 in the frame.
McCollum then went-on to score a career-high 43 points on the night, to lift the visitors to a 95-89 victory, which snapped their 8-game losing streak on the road.
