Belarus has opened an exhibition of Soviet nostalgia ahead of the anniversary of the Russian Revolution.

With less than a few months to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution in March, Belarus Soviet Museum located in the Mogilev region has opened an extensive exhibition.

According to organizers, the USSR memorabilia have tried to pay attention to emotions and memories from the revolution that led to the eventual rise of the Soviet Union, while staying politically neutral.

The exhibition includes more than 5,000 items from the period including children’s books, gadgets, statues and photographs of former Soviet leaders among other things.

All of the items on display are donated by the general public.
