New York City has tested its yearly confetti dispersal under pouring rain in preparation for the New Year's Eve celebrations.
The Big Apple’s Time Square successfully carried out its traditional confetti air worthiness test against the rain.
The rehearsal ceremony kicked off as a marching band provided the drum-roll to start the confetti toss. Following the cue, several volunteers threw handfuls of pieces of colorful confetti from high above the street to make sure that the paper streamers will not go soggy under bad weather conditions.
Just like every year, the actual show on December 31st, will include dropping thousands of confetti pieces mixed up with papers carrying thousands of wishful statements.
