Argentine Carlos Tevez joins Shanghai Shenhua on huge deal
After weeks of negotiations, Carlos Tevez has finally moved to China to join the Super League club Shanghai Shenhua, making the 32 year old the highest paid footballer in the world.
The club has paid an 11,000,000 dollar transfer fee to the Argentine club Boca Juniors. No details were given over the contract. But, it has reported that Tevez would be paid a record 40,000,000 dollars over his 2 year deal with the club.
The CSL side have always brought in big name players from Europe, with ex-Chelsea forward Demba Ba, Obafemi Martins and former Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin among the long list of recruits.
