Tottenham Hotspur have come back from a goal down to thrash 10-man Southampton 4-1 at St Mary's Stadium.

The Saints went ahead early on Wednesday through Virgil van Dijk who headed home after a minute of play.

But, Spurs managed to grab the equalizer before half-time on Dele Alli’s pinpoint header.

Harry Kane then put the visitors in front after the break with another fine header, making it 2-1.

Things then got even worse for Southampton as they were reduced to 10 men when Nathan Redmond was sent off with a red card.

Tottenham took advantage and Son Heung-min came off the bench to add a 3rd for Spurs.

Alli then scored his 2nd of the match 3 minutes from time to add some gloss to the scoreline, as the Londoners earned the full 3 points in style.
