Manchester United beat Sunderland 3-1 at Old Trafford

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has scored with a superb back-flick, to help Manchester United beat David Moyes’ Sunderland 3-1 at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils staged a dominant performance on Monday, but they had to wait until the 39th minute when their pressure paid off as Daley Blind fired across goal after a lay-off by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic himself doubled United’s advantage in the 82nd minute by scoring his 16th goal of the season after a great pass by Paul Pogba.

Substitute Mkhitaryan added gloss to the scoreline with less than 5 minutes remaining, as he met Zlatan Ibrahimovic's right wing cross with a brilliant back-heeled effort.

Fabio Borini scored a late consolation goal for Sunderland with a fabulous volley, but Man United ran away with the 3 points, after posting their 4th straight Premier League victory.
