Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that his side has tightened-up defensively in the last two games, but predicts that the boxing day match against Hull city could be a tough one.

The back-line has been City's weak-link this season, but Guardiola is trying to improve the all-round play of the team to solve the problem.

The City manager says he will, by no means, take rock-bottom side Hull City for granted, arguing that the gap between the first 10 and the last 10 is not big.

The Spaniard is concerned about right-back Pablo Zabaleta’s condition, as the Argentine is doubtful for the Monday-showdown at Hull, due to a knee problem.
