Extensive Ice and Snow festival kicks off in China
A winter sports festival has opened in China with more than 500 local attendants and over 200 outdoor activities.
The annual Fushun Ice and Snow festival kicked off in the Chinese city of the same name located in Liaoning Province.
Officials have reportedly invested large amounts of money to promote the event. The festival is supposed to go on until the coming March and is expected to lure in around one million guests.
Of course the event owes a large number of its visitors to several national and international winter sports scheduled to be held in the same Chinese province.
