Miami Heat retire Shaquille O'Neal's jersey

The Miami Heat have retired their number 32 jersey which belonged to NBA legend, Shaquille O'Neal.

This happened in a special ceremony held for O’Neal right before their match with the Lakers on Thursday.

The legendary player was also with the Lakers for some time where his number 34 jersey was already retired. O’Neal won three championships with the Lakers before they traded him to the Heat in 2004 where he won another ring in 2006.

The player remains a fixture in record books for both teams. He ranks among the top 10 for both sides in several categories including field goal percentage, points per game, rebounds per game and blocked shots.
