At least 8 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in renewed fighting in the country’s volatile east. The latest clashes between pro-Russia fighters and Ukraine’s government forces erupted over the control of the strategic city of Debaltseve. Meanwhile, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is helping mediate talks between representatives from Russia and Ukraine on ways to stop fighting for at least the holiday season.
