Britain’s old colonial ambitions

In the middle of its divorce process from the EU, Britain needs to quickly find bilateral trade safety nets in other parts of the world.

It looks like Britain is desperately seeking to return to its old colonial patch in the Persian Gulf as compensation for breaking with the EU bloc.

Shortly after Prime Minister Theresa May’s visit to the region, it was Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson’s turn to reveal another piece of the map.
