Chelsea have extended their lead at the top of the standings to nine points, after beating a stubborn Crystal Palace side 1-nil at Selhurst Park.
The London Blues went ahead two minutes before half-time on Saturday through Diego Costa. The Spain international got his head on the end of a superb cross to send the ball looping over the keeper, making it 1-nil.
And that goal was enough to hand the visitors their 11th consecutive victory and move nine points clear of Liverpool and Arsenal.
